Gay Sex Scandal
Was watching my morning news and heard about the sad fate of that person who had a can stuck up his ass, and the doctors laughed at him while he’s being operated on, and now, the church (or atleast, the head in Cebu) allegedly said that there wouldnt be a “laughing incident” at all had the gay guy not engaged in sex with a prostitute.
I think Anthony Taberna (was watching Umagang Kay Ganda) hit it right when he said that the least person expected to judge the guy’s the Church as it should, and must be within their soul to have compassion and love regardless. I really feel sad for the gay guy, because he was raped, he was laughed at, and he’s humiliated not just in his hometown, not just in his country — but, thanks to streaming online media, the world.
And worse, what happened to him could also happen to any other person. What if it was the vice-president who’s got that spray can up his ass, would people laugh at him? I bet no one would — out of respect. Or it could happen to even any other woman out there, like myself. If it was a woman who got raped, with the same can up her ass, would people reacted the same? Again, i bet not. People would sure be rallying out of pity for the girl.
But, in this case, the victim’s not a manly dignitary nor is he a “she. And this made all the difference. Nobody seemed to have respected this poor guy from Cebu, so he must be realy, really strong to still be able to live his life the way he is living it right this moment. Good thing there are groupies who are willing to support him in his battle — and support him for free.
I have a lot of gay friends, one of my closest friend’s gay, I even have a gay cousin, so I really symphatize with the poor guy. If people could only see beyond what they can and look at what’s beneath, things would probably turned out a lot hell better for everyone.
