Thou shall not steal
This morning, i witnessed yet another robbery incident…
A man, who pretended to be crippled, grabbed the mobile phone of this one lady… and then ran. It was so fast, it must have happened in about 5 seconds.. Right after that, all of us who’re in that ride talked about similar experiences — which made me remember how i lost my phone a month ago (someone took my phone from inside my bag!).
There’s also this incident when my mom and i were walking and some guy (in a motorcycle) snatched my mom’s shoulder bag. my mom shouted, well, more like whispered “bag ko, bag ko!” lol… and that was when i learned that that guy from the motorcycle took her bag. being the superhero that i am, i ran, bent on catching the thief, but when i realized that the guy could shoot me, i stopped. haha. my life’s more important than the bag. lol.
and then there’s another when i accompanied my mom at the atm, to withdraw some cash.. this one Am-boy snatched my mom’s necklace.. again, my mom “whispered”, and again, i tried to chase the guy.. and i almost did, ha.. i stopped cause the guy got away after riding this puj. lol. that time, i was so disappointed cause there were MMDAs around, and no one bothered to help us. tsk… to think i was paying for their salaries through my taxes. another tsk…
saved this for last.. one time, after buying some med at the drug store, i saw this lady got robbed in broad daylight by a number of gunned men. the lady’s all crying and screaming but we all could do nothing about it cause some of the men were aiming their guns at us.. waaaaah… they got the bag, and fled fast.
arghh. pity these people, they dont know what they’re doing.. the things people do for money. tsk.
