Same sex marriage and relationships
Same-sex marriage is now legal in some states.. I dont know if it’s gonna happen here in the Philippines but for sure, there’s gonna be hell lot of debates about it.
Have lots of gay friends so Im not really sure about the issue — part of me says it’s an okay thing to do, but part of me also do not agree. It’s everybody’s right to be happy, but being happy does not necessarily mean we need to twist certain aspects in the society.
Just this morning we shared a conversation with a radio commentator and he spoke about same-sex relationships.. how it’s okay to be gay, but how it’s not okay to be having relationships with your “kind”.. he said it’s in the Bible — am not even aware of it, see? I dont know.. I need to be enlightened, all i know is it’s not for people to judge.
I love my gay and lesbian friends and I see nothing wrong with what they’re doing, but, I don’t know.. cause, deep down, i think it’s all about love and acceptance.
