Monetize your Blog and Earn from PTCs
Havent been blogging here these past few days cause am busy blogging else where. lol. Just trying to make my “new” blog, TheFilipinoWeb, known to other Pinoys.. so I did a lot of things, changed its layout, add more ads (sounds redundant), and post more content. Of course, am still trying to get the hang of it, especially cause Ive been writing for this one friend (who pays me per post, hehe) and now, I have almost the same niche, so I get to write about the same topic twice, which makes it a bit more difficult.
And one more thing, am sounding a bit too geeky here (right, bff?), am happy that my work finally paid off.. my advocacy blog, Greenphils, has been chosen as one of the top cyberpinoys for July 2008 by Tanikalang Ginto — that’s the country’s premier filipino site directory, mind you..
Moving on, as Ive been researching on ways to monetize blogs, I found this get paid to click thing a lot of pinoys have been endorsing (and they’re endorsing it big time cause it’s paying them lotsa money, and in dollars.. so i signed up, and if you wanna sign up as well, here’s a banner link:
Death again…
So many deaths this year.. why oh why..
My colleague’s dad died, a former famous basketball player (NCAA about fifty years back). He’s 91, and my colleague said he died of Alzhiemer’s — having forgotten to breathe. Well, he is his son so he can joke about that, but, it’s always nice to see family warmingly accepting the lost of a loved one.
It’s just like ours when my tito died, or lolo, or lola… nobody’s super sad, everybody’s got a smile on the face. It’s almost like a reunion, chismisan galore, updates on what’s what, who’s who, whenever such an occasion happens. I
t’s as if we’re having a party, more like, probably, it’s the dream of our dead loved ones to atleast reunite the family as he leaves the “earth”… like a despedida.
Then maybe, another party, a welcome party, with the rest of the family “on the other side” whenever one of us gets there…
… where all of us truly belong. 
Increase Blog Traffic
Am still focused on my new baby, TheFilipinoWeb.. i finally got the look that I wanted, thanks to ChiQ Montes (she also designed this page), it’s a funky magazine web theme, and i love it. makes the site edgier.
Ive also joined this groupie so more people would be able to know tfw. It’s called entrecard. Still trying to feel it so cant say much about it now. If you wanna know more about it, just click here for my entrecard id.
I also joined a message board for pinoy wordpress bloggers, and am happy to note that the people there are really helpful.. Ive been learning the whats and what nots in blogging. Am even rushing a bit cause i didnt know about the policies that are supposed to be in the blogs. lol. Im beginning to sound geeky cause ive been tinkering with blogs all day (well, almost) but im trying to be a serious problogger this time so I’d earn more money. lol.
a girl’s got to do what she’s got to do to pay the bills, aight?
