The Dark Knight Review

Spent the whole day out, went to visit a special someone, and then head off to the mall with mama (who went to play bingo) while I wait for my friend, Oneng.

Anyway, I played bingo as well (Oneng’s super late and I got nothing to do), and I won! I won a super lucky amount of 666 pesos. Creepy, lol.  Oneng arrived an hour late, and afterwards, we headed off to the movies to watch our Papa Heath in The Dark Knight.

The movie’s great, i love the fact that it’s realistic, in a sense that batman has this non-fiction feel on him. Same goes with the Joker (although not that much with two-face, cause his was way too impossible).  It made Batman move a notch higher than the other superheroes in a sense that he could, you know, probably be real, like a super gazillionaire living in New York City, who’s got access to the hottest gadgets and technology, and who heads an organization of goodie guys. basta, pwedeng maging totoo. lol.

The action scenes are tight, and just when you thought the Joker has pulled off the worst thing there is to do to make people hate him, he comes up with another, more evil than what he’s previously done. Every ”crime” scene is superb, from the bank robbery (which opened the movie) to that one in the hospital… same with when Joker and his insane groupies were chasing after the cops. Astig!

Tough guys, would-be criminals could learn a lot just watching the film – like how to use brains when committing a crime (lol).

It was such an exhausting film, you never know what’s gonna happen next. I thought my chest’s gonna explode cause the explosions sounded so freakin real.

Very intelligent filmmaking, definitely exceeded my expectation!
