Bands and Recording Studio
Had an overtime at work today (of course, unpaid).. We had a screening at Thirdline Inc., a recording (or rehearsal) studio near Katipunan… We originally had five bands lined up but only two showed up — and of the two, only one made the cut. So yeah, sayang, but atleast we got our “final” band. It’s Queen-ish, but they’re good.
Anyway, it was fun at the recording studio, especially with the Dimitri peeps around. I like them cause they’re fun, crazy people — and very friendly din. Even the bosses, they’re very down to earth, and “normal”… Had fun taking wacky pictures with Ruby, Myla, and Ijo, and also taking pictures of Alona (playing the drums, singing, with APO Hiking, cartwheeling, pole dancing, jebzing, lol, the last ones, was just kidding).
We also had a little meeting — production aspect of the event — what we’re supposed to do and all that… my task is to be an artist marshall, a glamourized term for “julalay ng banda”. hahaha. I just hope the first three bands (where id be slave) are easy to deal with. So far, from what I know, Verses will be first, so they’re with me… yeah, verses with the cute lead singer admired by my colleagues. I also hope that my band babies would include Kadangyan (especially the drummer, lol) Syalam (I find Jamir nice), or Virtuoso (i like the lead, she’s pretty).
It’s almost like how we were in college… doing productions and stuff… or theater… and as always, am backstage. lol.
