Bugoy and Liezel Garcia, PDA

Well, Liezel and Bugoy sang well in tonight’s gala performance, as expected.
Pinoy Dream Academy is really fun to watch. Like today’s gala is about duets, and ironically, the only real couple in the house gets nominated for expulsion next week. Felt sad (affected, lol) cause I really thought Bea did try hard considering the fact that she’s admittedly not a “singer”, plus, i thought they’re being sweet cause Bea’s trying to sound good for Miguel, and Miguel’s trying to help Bea out, something like that (i thought they’re even better than the other three pairs). Plus, “Araw-Gabi” (by Regine Velasquez) is among my super all-time favorite songs.
I also enjoyed Laarni and Inaki’s performance.. really thought they blended well. Inaki boosted Laarni’s stage presence, while Laarni helped Inaki sound better. Great song choice too, “Kung Ako na lang Sana” by Bituin Escalante is a really sweet sad love song.
I guess it would be Bea out next. It would be better that way, so their supporters would be able to pool their money (for the text votes) on just one person, rather than have to split to support the two of them.

Good News
Yesterday, Lou said we can call the bands who made the cut, tell them the good news, and inform them of our meeting tomorrow regarding “the” production.
I love bringing the good news so I decided id be the one to call the bands, and say “Hi band, you made it!”… most of them sounded happy, and two seemed as if they’re already expecting it. Well, they’re good, and maybe they already got a following, so it’s understandable.
Also had a chat with Ava, sent her the “fire” she needed, and this one song lyrics copy she needs for the avp she’s preparing… Also informed her about this one film competition with environment as a theme. So morning’s great for me..
Afternoon, was busy editing the pictures we took during the second screening… well, funny cause it’s mostly “our” pictures. hahaha. Then, we checked on our colleagues who would want to attend the battle of the bands.
Also, Miss Eunice already sent us the dvd copy of the GMA kapuso telebabad teasers they would want shown at the battle. I took a peak (lol, of course i had to check it) and so, now I know what shows GMA would be offering soon. Regine velasquez is too cute as Kim Samsoon in the trailer they sent us. Hihihi…
Liezel Garcia of Pinoy Dream Academy
Like i posted earlier, was watching the Gala of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2… the scholars did not disappoint, in my opinion, they’re way better than most of the finalists in Pinoy Idol (atleast for now, since they both just had their “first” real performance night)..
I loved Liezel Garcia’s performance the most… She’s the one from Galera, who went to Dubai to work.. am not really sure. lol. Anyway, it helped that she sang Dance With My Father, one of my faves, but she really does have “the” voice — very distinctive, and “may tapon”. So, wasnt surprised, was even rooting for her, to be the night’s “scholar”.. she’s really good.. good enough to be able to win for her lola a cellphone.. hihihi..
Hope she wins.. maybe she’d be famous.. given the right “packaging”..
plus, she seems nice and genuine.. i like her.
Anyway, I was searching for Liezel’s picture and I came across this Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 site. So for people who would want to know the other “scholars”, just visit the site.
PS: I also like Cris (the sexy girl, huh), Apple (a darling), and Jet (very gwapo). hihihi.
