Discount and For Sale
It’s Independence Day today, and most of my colleagues went to Luneta to attend the prepared ceremony. I chose to stay at the office, so I could do the things am supposed to do — prepare news releases, coordinate with people for some events, blahblahblah…
I also got myself busy conceptualizing this sort of card for my friend’s wedding.. exciting! Also lent her some magazines which I thought she might find useful now that she’s ready to tie the knot.
Anyway, news at the office is that they could get things at SM Malls at 10% discount, just for tonight.. Dont know if it’s true, though… If you’re just gonna buy a thousand worth, then that’s nothing, but if you’re going to buy a car, hahaha.. that’s a lot of savings..
Sex and the City
Went out to see Sex and the City with a friend today, and we werent disappointed.
Yes, we werent. In fact, we loved it and we thought the rumors about it not being up to par, atleast with the tv series, plus the boom mics all over the scenes, are so unfair. I loved the scene when Carrie was hitting Big during the post-wedding that didnt happen scene. I could imagine myself doing that if my groom would do the same. lol. I cried during that scene, cause i know their story.
And i thought Samantha’s part of the story is not that “lengthy” compared with the others — or maybe, because most scenes got “edited out” here in the Philippines so Sex and the City could be PG13. I love Samantha pa naman.
But i love how the girls turned out — Carrie and Big getting married; Miranda and Steve back together (I thought Steve turned into a hottie the latter part of the tv series, but he looked old in the movie..), and Charlotte finally getting pregnant. As for Samantha, it would have been beter if she’s not to grow old alone — i thought she turned monogamous but she did not.. just thought that was sad.
I got carried away.. 
Dreams and Reality
Dreams really do come true..
I shared a chat with one of my friends, and found out one of her dreams has come true! Yey! It was surreal, yes, but it was really spiritual in a sense, cause my friend’s a “goody”… She’s active in church, in community service, stuff like that — so i know that she really is deserving of all the blessings that are coming her way.
It’s as if it was only a few days back when we’re together talking about life over lunch… talking about what we want to become, as far as work and well, other life’s aspect is concerned. Things happened and, as if gazillions of blessings in disguise, one thing led to another, and now, she’s on top of her game.. so proud of her!
anyway, i dont know if i could divulge it here, but i guess not, even if am so damn excited already… basta, it has something to do with being a fearless female. hehehe.
am so proud of her!
